What’s the Deal?
A practical, thoughtful, and holistic approach to addiction & recovery. The program is to complement existing therapeutic modalities and 12-step programs, recognizing the importance of a multifaceted approach to recovery
. Chi Sanctuary is open to anyone and everyone dealing with their own addictive behavior or affected by the addictive behavior of others.

Group
Group Support & Accountability: Meet-ups begin and end as a group, fostering a powerful sense of unity and support.
Choice in Participation: Individuals have the freedom to choose how they wish to engage during the meet-ups, promoting a personalized and comfortable experience.
Communication Tools: Participants learn tools to support conscious and healthy communication
Mental & Emotional
Therapeutic exercises focus on emotional and mental well-being, incorporating practices such as Mindfulness, breath work, and somatic experiencing.
Mindful exercises explore the connection between nutrition and emotional well-being, addressing the importance of a holistic approach to recovery.
Physical
Physical Well-being: The facility provides full gym access on 4th Fridays, emphasizing physical strength and flexibility as integral components of the recovery journey.
We will also explore other movement modalities for those who are interested such as yoga, boxing, aerial fitness & tai chi.
Who’s facilitating?
Susan Mendoza is the Owner and Co-founder of Chi Hive Gym and Wellness. A seasoned wellness professional, Susan holds certifications as a Yoga , Pilates and Aerial Fitness Teacher, Ayurvedic Health and Wellness Coach, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, Reiki Practitioner Levels 1 & 2. She is also a certified Roll Model® Method Practitioner , and holds a certificate in Somatic Embodiment & Regulation Strategies.
Additionally, Susan is a certified facilitator for Yoga 12 Step Recovery for Addiction and Trauma Recovery, and is a Certified Little Flower Yoga Teacher for 'Yoga and Mindfulness Tools for Children and Adolescents' (Levels 1, 2, 3, plus training in Trauma Informed Teaching and Navigating Anxiety)
